Andrei Lobanov

ANDREI LOBANOV was born in Tallinn, Estonia in 1962.

After the graduation from Polytechnic Highschool in 1983, he studied at the Tallinn Arts Academy up to 1990 and started his career as a painter. He specialized as a stained glass artist and fresco painter.

During the period from 1988 and up until now Andrei Lobanov has created variety of stained glass figurative, modern and historical interiors. The main technology used is the classical medieval lead stained windows with glass painting (burning), glass is either prefabricated or manually produced; tiffany technique is used.

Andrei Lobanov is a member of the Estonian Artists’ Association (EAA) since 1993.
